Artists' Open Studio Tour
See county artists at work this Saturday
By Rebecca Sewald This Saturday marks the 31st annual Artists' Open Studio Tour, presented by the Cecil County Arts Council.
Local woodworkers, blacksmiths, jewelers, painters and potters will open their doors for one whirlwind day of touring. The self-guided tour features 19 stops throughout the county and highlights the work of nearly 30 area artists. On view for show and sale, the artwork ranges from colorful paintings to creative cake decorating.

Local band is inspired by Elkton street

The four-person rock band - made up of guitarist Dave Moore, 50; guitarist Kirby Jackson, 19; bassist Tim Moore, 43; and drummer Patrick Milner, 33 - said many of their songs are inspired by life's trials and tribulations.
