Rising Sun wins 9-10 Baseball championship

Rising Sun jumped out to a 10-run lead after three innings and held on for a 13-12 victory over Frederick National to claim the 9-10 Baseball State Championship on Thursday at Robert D. Stethem Park in Waldorf.
Aaron Richardson finished 3-for-5 with three singles, Jake Bower went 3-for-4 with a double and Caleb Griffitts added two hits for Rising Sun, which scored seven runs in the second inning.
