Rising Sun edges S. Caroline

Brennan Martz hit a two-run single, scored one run and worked two-thirds of an inning of scoreless, hitless relief to lead Rising Sun to a 5-4 victory over South Caroline in the 9-10 Baseball State Tournament at Waldorf Little League on Tuesday.
Rising Sun, which recorded four runs in the fourth frame, advances to the state championship at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
