HAVRE DE GRACE - When shortstop Tyler Thomas drew a leadoff walk, it was a sign of things to come for the Elkton Junior Baseball All-Star team. Eighty minutes later, Elkton had drawn 15 walks and scored 16 runs. The game was still in the top of the second inning.
"We were just trying to wait for strikes and if we got them, we'd hit them," third baseman Matt Armour said. "We wanted to get walks and not strikeout or pop out."
