Tome School team takes Envirothon first place

Ten teams of students from six county high schools competed Wednesday in the 17th-annual Cecil County Envirothon, a rigorous environmental science challenge held at the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area.
For the third year in a row, a team from The Tome School, a private school in North East, took the top prize and with it the honor of representing Cecil County at a statewide Envirothon competition next month.
