Assembly signs off on final bills, session for 2007

ANNAPOLIS - Within hours of the end of the 2007 General Assembly session Monday, lawmakers reached agreement on a gang prosecution bill that Sen. Nancy Jacobs describes as a baby step compared with her original bill.
The Senate passed both House and Senate versions of the bill Monday by identical votes of 44-2 with two Baltimore Democrats casting dissenting votes.
