Public Works praises plans for tech school

ANNAPOLIS - Plans for Cecil County’s new comprehensive high school captured the attention Wednesday of the state Board of Public Works, prompting questions and compliments from Gov. Martin O’Malley, state Treasurer Nancy Kopp and Comptroller Peter Franchot.
“Do you have a career school now?” Kopp asked after she listened to county schools Superintendent Carl Roberts request the new technology school be included in the board’s planning schedule.
