A night of drinking ended Friday in a single-car accident that seriously injured three Elkton-area men when their vehicle flipped on a nearly straight road with little traffic near Chesapeake City, police said.
William Ross Hawkins III, 19, ran off Cayots Corner Road near Route 213, causing the 1994 Dodge Intrepid he was driving to strike a culvert and flip over at least twice, said Maryland State Police Sgt. John Blades Jr.
