Students show science skills at Envirothon
* Tome School beats nine other teams

Sixty public and private school students put their environmental science skills to the test Wednesday in a competition that required them to handle dead fish, rate soils by color and measure the heights and widths of trees.
Ten teams from five Cecil County schools participated in the 15th-annual Envirothon at Fair Hill Environmental Center, including groups from Perryville, Rising Sun and Bohemia Manor high schools, Cecil County School of Technology and The Tome School.
