Port tour sheds light on town’s historic houses
By Jaime E. Cherundolo jcherundolo@chespub.com
Port Deposit residents Kathleen and Joe Conner are expecting a visit from Abraham Lincoln and his wife this weekend, and to prepare for the event, they will have five indentured servants, a nanny, a butler and a viola player working in their home.
The hired help and historic guests are a Conner family tradition that has been taking place on the first Saturday in December for the last three years.
