North East teen killed in crash

A 17-year-old North East High School student was fatally injured Saturday night after he lost control of his car near Chesapeake City and was thrown from the vehicle when it flipped over, police said.
Justin Carlson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, lost control of his 2003 Mazda around 10:45 p.m. while attempting to negotiate a northbound curve on Knights Corner Road near the intersection with Woods Road, police said.
